Andrea's place exceeded our expectations and we have rented Airbnbs around the world. She also was an incredible host and hope to stay there again!
I can't say enough good things about Andrea's cottage. Her neighborhood is totally woodsy and beautiful. The cottage itself is perfectly cozy, with much of the furniture made by Andrea herself! On top of that, Andrea went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including leaving fresh eggs from her hens in the fridge for me and making it possible for me to plug my hybrid vehicle into her garage 120 outlet overnight.
We had the best stay at Andrea and Nina’s adorable cabin. The property is large, beautiful, and dog friendly, with tall trees to gaze at from two cute outdoor patios, or framed through the big glass doors and windows from inside. The cozy and spacious cabin is charmingly decorated and has everything you could need. Lovely woodsy neighborhood for strolling just ten minutes from downtown Placerville and a few minutes from Empire Mine state park. And the nicest hosts, Andrea and Nina, who made my birthday weekend extra special. Thank you so much for an awesome stay!
It was a wonderful stay! Easy check in and check out. The cottage was beautiful, cozy and a perfect getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Andrea was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. I recommend this place and would definitely come back!
Andrea place was so gorgeous and everything was extremely thoughtful and thought out. The full kitchen and appliances made it so easy to cook up a meal. Andrea had all the spices and things to needed to cook and fresh eggs. If you're a nature lover then you'll feel right at home. So many trails to choose from. Everything was such a close drive and the private neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. I love the fireplace which made it cozy and the binoculars were a great touch to bird watch. Stargazing was exceptional. Andrea made us feel extremely welcome and at home. I traveled with two dogs and they absolutely love it here! My brittany was in love hanging out checking out the birds and my Bichon love cuddling in her bed by the fireplace. I am so excited to book this place again. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars 🌟 I've been to many Airbnbs but Andrea sets the bar high.
So happy we found this place!! Incredibly peaceful and cozy. Andrea was such a thoughtful and responsive host, and has clearly put so much care into preparing the space, which had everything it needed and nothing it didn’t. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen (including fresh laid hens eggs), the tasteful decorations, and the notes on which trails were currently best to see the blooming wildflowers. Hope we can come back someday!

Wonderful nest during my weekend visit to Nevada city. Short commute downtown, but located in a quiet neighborhood amongst the pines. Andrea was lovely. They created a holistically relaxing environment, and respected my space while offering hospitality and support for my journey if I asked for it.
We loved our stay at the cottage and we hope to be back. The cottage is well equipped for cooking, the wifi was fast, and the grounds are super peaceful. We stayed 5 nights. We spent the mornings swimming at the Yuba River and then returned to the cottage in the afternoon to BBQ and sit out among the trees. Communication with the host was great and we definitely plan to be back.
This is a great spot, a peaceful setting, and Andrea is a very considerate host! It was a wonderful location for a quiet weekend getaway with my dog, who greatly appreciated watching the many birds and squirrels in the yard.
